Frequently Asked Questions

  • Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN)
We recommend booking flights early, as summer and holiday weekend travel can fill up quickly.

  • Cell service can be limited in some areas of the property. If you do not have AT&T, we recommend enabling Wi-Fi Calling before you arrive. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

  • If you'd like flexibility during your stay, we recommend renting a car. Uber and Lyft can be difficult to get at the top of the mountain. If you plan to use the wedding shuttles, a rental car may not be necessary.

  • Mountain weather can change quickly. When checking the forecast, we recommend planning for temperatures that are about 10°F cooler than downtown Bozeman, especially in the mornings and evenings. Even in July, nights can be chilly, so bring a jacket or warm layer.

  • We recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, lip balm, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, and a warm layer for cool evenings.

For outfit details for each event, please visit our Style Guide on our weekend events page.

  • OpenAir is located at a significantly higher elevation than downtown Bozeman. If you're visiting from a lower elevation, we recommend drinking plenty of water, limiting alcohol when you first arrive, and taking it easy if you experience mild altitude symptoms.

  • Absolutely! We encourage guests to enjoy the trails and incredible views. Please be respectful of neighboring properties and stay within OpenAir's property boundaries. You can view a property map and boundary lines in the Location section of the OpenAir website.

  • Yes. Wildlife is part of the Montana experience. Please do not feed animals, store food securely, and remain aware of your surroundings while exploring.

  • Our wedding weekend will be adults only, with the exception of nursing infants. Thank you for your understanding.

  • We love dogs, and they're welcome to join you during your time in Bozeman. However, pets are not permitted at OpenAir during wedding events. With wildlife and many guests on the property, we won't be able to accommodate pets during the weekend.
